Cincinnati Bell: Why Pay for Two

Leveraging its ability to deliver high-speed Internet service on smartphones and at home, Cincinnati Bell announced a revolutionary program designed around one simple question: “Why Pay For Two?”

The Challenge

Cincinnati Bell needed a way to quickly communicate the advantages of the WhyPayForTwo plan — unlimited Internet access and text messaging on a smartphone and high-speed Internet access at home — and compare the low price ($39.99 a month) to what the competition charges for just one service. Their agency-of-record at the time was unable to help them bolster the broadcast and outdoor campaign messaging with an online presence, so Cincinnati Bell approached us 10 days before the campaign was to launch.

The Solution

We created a easy-to-use compare and save calculator which asks users a few questions about their current mobile phone and home internet subscriptions and then presents them with the savings provided by the Why Pay For Two plan. The site, built on flash, was concepted, created, tested, and launched in 9 days.

What I Did

I was responsible for concepting the site’s functionality and user experience and creating all site messaging and content.
