Tazza Mia

After opening their first store in 2007, Tazza Mia had grown to the Cincinnati area’s second largest coffee shop. They needed to create more brand awareness to gain entry into grocery stores (Kroger, Biggs, etc.) and open their next store—online.

The Challenge

The original site was built in Flash and sorely lacking search engine presence. Additionally, Tazza Mia wanted the ability to expand their reach by selling coffee beans online.

The Solution

We chose to move the website to Drupal to leverage its content management capabilities and built out the e-commerce store using Uber Cart. The resulting site has much more search engine indexed content and allows for the coffee shop to easily update menu and promotional items. Additionally, the new site better matches the physical store design.

What I Did

I was responsible for concepting the site’s functionality and user experience, and crafting top-level site messaging and content.
