Following the acquisitions 4 companies in 5 years, MedData needed a way for its 2,000+ employees to connect with each other and make the transition to their company organization without overburdening everyone's email inbox.
Cincinnati Bell: Better As One
The Challenge
Cincinnati Bell needed a way to showcase how they had simplified their customers’ communication and entertainment needs and made them work together, ‘Better As One.” By incorporating all of their products and services – home phone, wireless, high-speed Internet, television, and property security – into one package, customers can save money and view everything in one bill.
The Solution
The innovative website followed a typical family throughout their day and shows how they use Cincinnati Bell products and services together to stay in touch, regardless of where they are: at home, on-the-go, or at work. Content was organized into slides that show different chapters of the story, each focused on where the family is during their day, so visitors to the site can learn which products and services complement each other best.
Built on a flexible .NET 2.0 application that easily allows for additional content updates without the expense of an enterprise content management system, the design impacted how Cincinnati Bell’s internal web team approaches the design of other Cincinnati Bell online properties.
What I Did
I was responsible for concepting the site’s functionality and user experience and creating all site messaging and content.
